Sausage & Mash at S&M cafe

イギリスの代表的な食べ物というと、フィッシュ＆チップスを思い浮かべる人も多いと思うけれど、ソーセージ＆マッシュ（マッシュポテト）もイギリス人の好物の一つ。カフェやダイナーでカジュアルにも食べれるし、ちゃんとしたレストランのメニューに登場することも。ロンドンに７件あるS&M cafe（ウェブサイトは現在構築中）は、昔風のキッチュなインテリアで若者に人気。エンジェルにあるお店がMの行きつけのお店で、よくランチに行く。この日のチョイスは、S&M London Traditional Sausages。ソーセージ２本がシンプルなトラディショナル・マッシュポテトと特製グレービー（肉を煮たり焼いたりする時に出る汁。煮つめてソースに使用）のセット。

Many people think about Fish & Chips as a typical British food, but Sausages & Mash (potatoes) is also one of the British’s favorite menus. S&M cafe is a popular place for young people, with its good old traditional sausanges & mash and funky 1950s style decor. Among 7 places in London, the one in Angel is our regular place for lunch. Today’s choice was “The Islington: Two s&m London Traditional Sausages”, served with traditional mash & house gravy.
