Frieze Art Fair 2011 @ Regent’s Park

今年で9年目を迎える、ロンドン最大のアートの祭典・Frieze Art Fair 2011（フリーズ・アートフェア）が今日から始まった（〜16日まで開催）。33カ国から集まった173のギャラリーが持ち込んだ、1,000人以上のアーティストたちの作品を一度に観ることが出来る（昨年のブログ参照）。

London’s biggest art event, Frieze Art Fair 2011 started today (til 16th, Sunday). It houses 173 galleries from 33 countries, showcasing contemporary art works of more than 1,000 artists (see also last year’s blog entry).

ゲルハルト・リヒターの「Strip 2011」。彼はこのフェアで最も作品が高く売れるアーティストで、現在彼の回顧展がテート・モダンで開催されている。この作品は既に売約済みで、そのお値段は不明だが、最低でも110万ユーロは下らないそう（参考：Evening Standard）。

Strip 2011 by Gerhard Richter, the most expensive artist in the fair, whose retrospective is currently running at Tate Modern. The work is already reserved, with estimated price of at least €1.1 million (see details at Evening Standard article).

会場内には、Gail’s Caféの他、HIX、Locanda Locatelli、Sketch（VIPルーム内）といった有名レストランのブースも。

There are drinking & eating booths including Gail’s Café, as well as London’s popular restaurants such as HIX, Locanda Locatelli, and Sketch (VIP room).
