コヴェントガーデンの小径・Rose streetでたまたま見つけた、カフェ＆ベーカリーのBageriet。スウェーデン語でベーカリーを意味するBagerietは、Melrose & Morganで働いた経験を持つスウェーデン人シェフが5月初旬にオープンさせたお店で、美味しいコーヒーや紅茶、そしてお母さんやおばあさんの作るお菓子にインスピレーションを得たという、素朴で優しい味のスウェーデンのケーキやビスケット、ペイストリーがいただける。客席が数席しかない、小さな隠れ家的な可愛いカフェ。
I happened to find this tiny café & bakery Bageriet on a equally tiny Rose street in Covent Garden. Bageriet (=The Bakery in Swedish) is opened at the beginning of this May by a Swedish pastry chef who has working experience at Melrose & Morgan. The café offers great coffee & carefully selected teas, and most of all, delightful Swedish treats. Very cute!
