New 10 Years Younger with Myleene Klass

Channel 4の番組、「10 Years Younger」の新シリーズが今日から始まった。司会役は、今回から、５シリーズ続けたNicky Hambleton-Jonesに代わり、Myleene Klassが担当している。この番組は、実年齢以上に老けて見える、主に中年以上の女性（たまに男性も登場）が登場、ファッション、化粧、ヘアスタイル、美容整形、審美歯科治療と、全身改造を行う。

最近、Myleene Klass（マイリーン・クラス）がやたら目につく。すぐに解散したイギリスのポップグループ・Hear’Sayのメンバーだったマイリーンは、B級セレブが登場するリアリティ番組・「I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!」で、白のビキニ姿でシャワーを浴びている姿が放映されてから、大ブレーク。大手スーパーマーケット・マークス＆スペンサー（Marks & Spencer、M&S) やパンテーンのCM、CNNのザ・スクリーニング・ルームと大忙しだ。１児の母でもあるマイリーンは、Baby Kというベビー服ブランドもプロデュースしている。

イギリス生まれだが、オーストリア人の父とフィリピン人の母を持つマイリーンは、クラシック音楽の素養を持ち、テレビやラジオの司会、歌手、ピアニスト、女優、モデルと多彩な顔を持つ。エキゾチックだが親しみやすい顔立ちと、ダイナマイト・ボディが人気の秘訣か。Mも大ファンだ。特に目が良いという。確かにスタイルは良いが、私にとっては普通の女の子としか見えないのだが、Mいわく、男にとってはたまらないらしい。そんなにいいかな？？

New series of Channel 4‘s program, ‘10 Years Younger‘ started tonight. The new host is Myleene Klass, instead of  South African fashion stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones, who presented past 5 series. The participants of the show, who look much older than their actual age,  receive a complete make over with the help of experts in fashion, cosmetic, hairstyle, cosmetic surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.

Now I see Myleene Klass all over the place in UK. Myleene, who is a ex-member of short-lived British pop group ‘Hear’Say‘, got a big break after she showed her body in white bikini taking a shower, in the reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘ along with other B class celebs. Now she is in the Marks & Spencer and Pantene CM, the host of CNN’s ‘The Screen Room‘ etc. Myleene, a mum of one, also produce baby clothing brand Baby K.

Myleene was born in Norfolk, England, to an Austrian father and a Filipino mother. Educated in classical music, she has different faces as an actress, singer, model, pianist, and presenter. He popularity could be due to exotic but girl-next-door sort of face with dynamite body? M is a big fan as well – he says he fancies her eyes. Yes she has a beutiful figure, but for ME, she is just another ordinary girl. Is she really a big deal for you??
