This is a LED installation by British visual artist Julian Opie, placed on the Lakeside outdoor terrace at the Barbican Centre. His signature portraits are characterised by minimal details composed of black outlines and circle and flat colours. He is one of my favorite artists, together with Michael Craig-Martin.
I believe that this work is a part of this year’s summer show “Watch Me Move: The Animation Show” at Barbican. Two orange LED displays, woman on the left (photo) and man on the right (photo), are showing them walking. It is hypnotic and I can watch them all day!
